Dear Henry Wilson Memorial School Families,

I hope this message finds you well. As we look ahead to the coming weeks, we would like to inform you that state testing will begin May 5th, shortly after April vacation. These assessments are an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and growth over the course of the year.

To help your child feel confident and prepared, we kindly ask for your support in reinforcing a few important habits at home. Ensuring that students get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast each morning can make a meaningful difference in their focus and stamina. We also encourage students to spend time playing and relaxing after school to maintain a healthy balance.

During testing, we remind students to give their best effort, take their time, and carefully think through their responses. They will be encouraged to use scrap paper as needed and to apply the strategies they have learned throughout the year.

Equally important is maintaining a calm and productive testing environment. We ask that students demonstrate positive testing behaviors by staying focused, working quietly, and being respectful of their classmates so that everyone has the opportunity to do their best. We are proud of the hard work our students have put in this year and are confident in their ability to succeed.
